I had such a fun time at the hotel! 🎉 loved the rooftop bar - views were stunning! 🌇 room was comfy with free wifi, but hot water was a bit iffy. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise! 🍳 staff was friendly and helpful. 🌟

What a great stay at this hotel! the staff here are so friendly and helpful; they made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. the location couldn't have been better, being so close to Penn Station and within walking distance to many attractions. the room was clean and comfortable, with a breathtaking city view that was definitely worth the upgrade. We enjoyed the convenience of having the subway nearby and plenty of dining options around.

One thing that could be improved is the cleanliness of the rooms. We had a few issues with housekeeping not being consistent, and some maintenance issues like loose carpet edges.

We were in a hurry, so stayed here only for 5 nights, though everything was great.

Quirky, funky with a nice lobby.

The staff at the hotel were fantastic from the get-go, and our room had a killer view with a spacious, coffee-filled layout. The gym was on point, and the TV in the room made for solid wind-down time.

The stuff is affable, the breakfast satisfactory, the ocation is best possible near wall and Penn Station and the city center near Empire State Building with many options of restaurants and shops.

During my stay at Renaissance New York Midtown Hotel, I appreciated the central location near Times Square and Macy’s. The modern room had a sliding glass panel for the bathroom, cool yet impractical. Lovely evening at Versa. Joshua at the front desk provided exceptional service but the noise from the street took some getting used to.

Loved the stay, it was great on a first visit to NY. Spotless, good value hotel, the location was ideal close to uptown and penn station and also shops and madison gardens and subways.

The hotel of choice in New York City. Very comfy beds and central heating, a personal safe and TV set. Facilities are clean, and there's shuttle to metro station.

The Thread Bar at the hotel was a delightful spot to unwind after a long day of exploring the city. The expertly crafted cocktails and chic yet relaxed atmosphere transported me to a world of luxury, akin to sipping drinks in a Bond film. The vibrant pulse of the surrounding neighborhood truly inspired the design of this unique space.

Inconsistent service at times.

It was funky and clean hotel, exactly as described, with courteous staff and perfect location down the street. The buffet breakfast had variety of food.

Just stayed at a hotel near the Square, close to everything. The breakfast at Versa was AMAZING with a variety. Would stay again, room views better than photos.

The hotel was stunningly beautiful and clean in a great area. Very central location, a 5-minute walk from a train station. Attractive and luxurious rooms with marble bathrooms and coffee/tea making equipment and a refrigerator.

The place was overall clean with a helpful staff. Very nice modern building and rooms with nice decoration.

Roamed floors, sipped cocktails, and grabbed grub within this lively haven. Admired wall view, then puzzled at shifty screens, hip as a playground! Ate, drank, and lounged with the peeps. Lapped up the city energy, missed the usual city rush. Breezed by fabric-filled windows, rocked out, and sweated at the gym. Surprise: kids danced on the rooftop while I did my thing. Loved every unscripted moment!

Good location, modern, comfortable and large rooms

There was a lack of maintenance, room light wouldn't go out, bathtub drain was clogged

Liked the hotel, it was hip new with unbeatable location close to everything including the RailRoad. The staff were exceptional, had fast check in and late check-out. The room was luxurious, bed was good, marble bathroom.

The hotel's central location allowed for easy exploration on foot, with friendly staff member Joshua providing exceptional service. Despite some initial hiccups with the check-in process and room maintenance issues, the comfortable bed and cleanliness were highlights of the stay.

The room was cozy and inviting, with a mini refrigerator to store my veggie snacks and a comfy bathrobe to relax in after a day of exploring the city.

I found the shower water pressure a bit too strong for my liking.

All. Everything was perfect, location, bedding, cleanliness, quality of service! Friendliness of the staff! Nothing to say about this establishment! By specifying during the check-in, that I came to celebrate my birthday, young woman of the reception offered me a 45$ coupon to enjoy a good moment at the Versa restaurant, on the 5th floor of the building! I also recommend this address! trendy and very welcoming place! I will come back!

The Renaissance hotel provided a very comfortable stay with a nice view from the room. the location was excellent for exploring attractions, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Spacious room, clean, good bedding. Internet okay. Good reactivity of the staff (see below). Convenient place especially for a first time. Taxi ordered from the hotel for the return trip (very convenient) with luggage deposit on the ground floor with tips.

restaurant. too noisy, it reminds me of a cafeteria but the food is not up to scratch. air conditioning is too noisy but we turned it off, there was still a slight blower. we reported it and problem was solved very quickly.

The sound of the room next door. The noise of the air conditioning. The lack of attention at the bar, we left without consuming.

silence and comfort. room is so well soundproofed that not only did we not hear the outside noise but we did not hear a single noise from other rooms or from the cleaning staff. room is spacious, fully equipped and bed is very comfortable as well as the pillows. Everything is just as it appears in the photos, views from the room are interesting if you are on a high floor and there are two curtains to have some privacy without losing the view completely.

Nothing, everything was great. It would only improve the way the Gin Tonics are made, but that criticism applies to all Mahattan's places and cannot be taken as a criticism at all of the waiters in this hotel who are very nice and make an effort to do what you ask them to do.

The location was perfect, right in the heart of mid, town, making it super convenient for exploring the city. the staff at the hotel went above and beyond to make our stay special, especially for my daughter's 16th birthday. They decorated our rooms beautifully and even helped us book a car service for a concert. the concierge and all the staff were truly excellent, providing excellent customer service.

On check, in, one staff member was rude and unwelcoming. They didn't seem interested in assisting us or even confirming our previously arranged late check, out.

Everything was fine, very well located, very close to Penn Station, we were just passing through, the next day we were taking a train.

The rooftop bar offered a nice atmosphere, although the music was a bit loud on nights with a DJ. Overall, we had a pleasant experience despite some minor inconveniences.

The dining options were very good too, with a restaurant and bar/lounge area that served amazing drinks and food. The leisure facilities like the fitness studio and free Wi-Fi added to the convenience that this place brought.

Not obvious to find.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The modern and stylish facility was spotlessly clean, and the city views from our room were breathtaking. The location was very convenient as it was very near to subway stations and close to everything by Madison Square Garden. We walked everywhere as it was so close to absolutely everything. The staff were incredibly friendly, and one of the bellmen went out of his way to find us a taxi, which was a nice touch.

I did have a small issue with the elevator system during my stay. There were times when I had to wait for a long time for the elevator to arrive, and it was often packed with people.

We had an amazing city break at this hotel. the staff at reception were so polite and gave us drink vouchers for the gorgeous bar. the room was even nicer than we expected, bigger than other rooms we've stayed in NYC. the subway station was just a 2-minute walk away, making it really convenient for exploring the city.

The soundproofing in the hotel could be better. We could hear police and ambulance sirens, which was a bit disruptive.

I chose this hotel for a Knicks game and it was perfect! The staff was friendly and made check-in and valet parking easy. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. The location was excellent, with a view of the Garden from my room. I will definitely recommend and stay here again!
